Cross-functional localization workflows suffered from constant communication gaps between copywriters and designers, with manual multi-language text handling leading to frequent UI overflows and delivery delays.

Chinese Pin Yin vs.English Pronounciation:Pinyin serves as the first mental model for understanding letter-to-sound relationships. However, this model becomes a barrier when learning English. For instance, students may pronounce the English letter "i" as [i], or mispronounce "r" as a harsh Chinese retroflex. These patterns of interference result in persistent pronunciation errors and even hinder students’ confidence in speaking English。

TASK

Leverage AI-assisted vibecoding to design and develop a custom Figma plugin that streamlines international copywriting collaboration and automates localization checks.

ACtion

1. MVP Definition: Clarified core requirements via ChatGPT, focusing on one-click text extraction, real-time multi-language translation, and dynamic text-overflow warnings.


2. AI-Driven Development: Utilized Claude Code to generate the plugin’s architecture (TypeScript/HTML/CSS) and integrated the DeepL Free API for accurate long-text translations.


3. Iterative Rollout: Developed Global and Single modes supporting batch synchronization and real-time line-break calculations, establishing a complete AI-assisted plugin development SOP.

Result

Successfully built a functional productivity plugin that bridges design assets with localized text streams, eliminating manual copy-pasting errors and accelerating multi-language delivery.
